It all starts with the primer.

Necessary for velvety, goblin-like depths on large surfaces, for clear, precise, cutting brushstrokes, bright colors in the clearest form, matt and glossy surfaces side by side, strong linen as a base. Tension preserved down to the smallest detail.

The orderly primer, painted six times vertically, horizontally and vertically, stretched like a drum.

Recognizable by the sound.

The primed canvas challenges free, large-scale movement, challenges the lightness, the joy, the pleasure of color in order to animate the severity of the ground with the skill of painting. 

Exploding the surface, mastering the form, into the boundary ways of chance.

Giving free rein to the imagination with an intellectual driving force.

Making the hard resistance - the ground - pliable.

Chased by curiosity about new pictures - our time together.

The mutual right of first viewing - to be the first to see each picture, to be able to let it take effect in the space of its creation, without it already being art history, but still untouched and free from it. 

The new picture - carrying the day within it, touching, including all the knowledge of all the pictures I have painted myself, even if all the others are forgotten at the moment - still without intention.
